Queer Eye festival focuses on alternative music, performance, visual arts and photography. It maps the Czech society and culture from a different "queer" perspective, but it also has an international outreach. And since it is organized by four women, it is a particularly a lesbian and a feminist one.

Our aim is to create a platform for work, development and integration of "minority" visual artists and musicians. Via workshops, lectures, photography/art, artistic and theatrical performances, and alternative bands we would like to bring together people with interesting viewpoints who could share and exchange ideas and support each other in the future.

Queer Eye festival – space where you can breathe freely! Space of tolerance and respect for others! Space where no-one is forced to comply with hetero-normative rules, gender roles or passive smoking… Dear smokers, please leave your cigarettes outside!

First year of Queer Eye 2010 took place on 16 and 17 April 2010 in NoD, Prague (warmup party in Friends club, main programme in NOD). And since your responses (verbal and written) were so mostly encouraging that we decided to organize the festival the following year.

Second year of Queer Eye 2011 women’s queer culture festival took place on 9 and 10 April 2011.
